The Raleigh Ringers Will Launch The 2009-2010 Shell Point Fine And Performing Arts Concert Series

FORT MYERS, FL (October 27, 2009) – The eighth annual Shell Point Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series begins on November 12 with the Raleigh Ringers. The concert will be held at the Village Church Auditorium and begins at 7:30pm, announced Dawn Boren, director of resident life for Shell Point Retirement Community. The entire Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series will feature a total of five concerts.

“The Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series has been a popular event to our Shell Point residents, as well as the surrounding community, for the last eight years,” said Boren. “We are very excited to welcome the Raleigh Ringers to Shell Point to launch this concert season, and believe that all who attend the performance will thoroughly enjoy it.”

The Raleigh Ringers is an internationally acclaimed, advanced community handbell choir based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since its founding in 1990, The Raleigh Ringers has been entertaining concert audiences with unique interpretations of sacred, secular, and popular music, including famous rock ‘n’ roll tunes arranged just for handbells. Under the direction of David M. Harris, The Raleigh Ringers has released four CDs, and a DVD of a holiday concert titled “One Winter Evening at Meymandi.”

Tickets for this concert are $35 each, or a season ticket of all five concerts in the entire Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series can be purchased for $125, for a savings of $50.
