Shell Point Kicks Off The Life Enrichment Series With A Florida Residency & Estate Planning Workshop Presented by Attorneys Craig Hersch & Michael Hill

FORT MYERS, FL (November 4, 2009) ) – Shell Point Retirement Community welcomes Attorneys Craig Hersch and Michael Hill, Board Certified Wills, Trusts & Estate attorneys of Sheppard, Brett, Stewart, Hersch, Kinsey, & Hill, PA, who will offer an informative workshop on Florida Residency and Estate Planning. The event is on November 11 with complimentary estate planning reviews beginning at 8:30a.m., and the program beginning at 9:30a.m. in the Village Church auditorium at Shell Point. This event is free, however, space is limited, so RSVPs are required.

“We are very excited to launch the Life Enrichment Series which will include a variety of topics, and are happy that Mr. Hersch and Mr. Hill will begin this series by educating residents of Southwest Florida on important details related to Florida Residency and Estate Planning,” said Lynn Schneider, assistant vice president of marketing and communications for Shell Point. “This seminar can help answer any questions attendees may have relating to how Florida’s estate planning laws are different from their former home state, and what new residents should consider when updating their estate plan.”

This presentation will offer visitors a chance to learn more on the estate planning and tax advantages to Florida Residency; whether your wills and trusts from up north are still valid; how to avoid probate; why you may need to update your legal documents to Florida Law; if you can save taxes by declaring Florida Residency; what you need to know about Florida Homestead laws; and how to keep your legal documents up to date in the most cost effective manner. Guests are invited to bring their current trust documents for a complimentary review at 8:30 a.m. The presentation will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m., and trusts can be picked up after the presentation is completed.
