SHELL POINT SEMINAR DISCUSSES HISTORY OF THE MIDDLE EAST

FORT MYERS, Fla. (April 8, 2011) – Shell Point Retirement Community will welcome Professor Adrian Kerr back to the community to present a 3-session class on The History of the Middle East. The presentations will take place on three consecutive Tuesday’s; May 17, 24, and 31 from 10:00am to 11:30am in the Grand Cypress Room/Woodlands.

” We are always happy to have Professor Kerr visit our campus and discuss some of the hot topics of current day situations,” said Teri Kollath, Academy/Volunteer Manager for Shell Point Retirement Community. “The history of this troubled region will better help us to understand the issues that are going on today, as Professor Kerr illuminates for us the history and the culture.”

Kerr, an historian, has been a sought after speaker locally to discuss the turmoil that has spread throughout the Middle East, in addition to offering presentations about other countries in the same region of the world. Professor Adrian Kerr is regularly invited to give talks on various topics internationally, and has participated in TV and Radio programs relating to topics in which he is considered an expert.
