JAZZ AMBASSADORS TO PERFORM AT SHELL POINT

FORT MYERS, Fla. (September 13, 2010) – Shell Point Retirement Community welcomes the internationally acclaimed Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army to perform in the Village Church Auditorium on The Island at Shell Point on Monday, October 25, at 7:00 pm.

The Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army travel around the country, as well as across the world, playing a variety of musical selections. Many types of music will be included in this concert such as Big Band, Latin, Swing, contemporary jazz, Dixieland, and other popular tunes. Many patriotic songs will be performed to show support for the many who serve our country on a daily basis. This group formed in 1969, and travels around the world to keep the will of American people behind our armed forces, as well as raise awareness for diplomatic efforts around the globe.

“It is a privilege and honor for Shell Point to sponsor the Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army once again,” said Melody Desilets, Program Coordinator for Shell Point. “We are excited to welcome them back, and know that those who attend will enjoy a superb performance.”

This performance is a free event, and seating is limited. Due to the high demand for this concert, you may only receive two tickets per person. Tickets must be picked up in person from the Woodlands Commons Service Desk at 14441 Woodsong Lane between the hours of 10am -2pm, Monday through Friday only.
