Shell Point’s Christmas season features Micheal W. Smith, Florida Gulfshore Ballet, and Southwest Florida Symphony

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2023) Shell Point celebrates the Christmas season with a trio of holiday performances in the Tribby Arts Center and The Village Church in December.

the Stage

Saturday, Dec. 9: Florida Gulfshore Ballet performs the classic holiday fairytale ballet “The Nutcracker” at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.at Tribby Arts Center. Tickets are $55 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.

 Monday, Dec. 11: Southwest Florida Symphony is back at Shell Point by popular demand with a Holiday Pops concert at The Village Church at Shell Point at 7 p.m. Tickets $50.

Tuesday, Dec. 12: Multi-platinum artist Michael W. Smith performs at The Village Church at Shell Point at 7 p.m. Tickets $55.

In the Galleries

Exhibitions in the Tribby Arts Center galleries are available for viewing through Saturday, Dec. 23. Flora & Fauna: Artworks Inspired by Nature” presents paintings by Renée Chastant and Betsy Conrad, ceramics by Augusta Crane and Martha Grattan, and bronzes and glassworks by Annie Wainwright.

A Legacy Exhibition honoring contribution to the arts community of Shell Point, “Art of the Quilt” presents the works of Shell Point resident Pat Meredith, along with a selection of sewing-related objects from her personal collection.

Tribby Arts Center exhibitions are free and open to the public. Tribby Arts Center is located within Shell Point, at 17281 On Par Boulevard in Fort Myers.
