CUTLINE: Shell Point Retirement Community welcomes ragtime pianist Peter Bergin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 as part of the Concerts & Conversations program of Shell Point’s 2019-2020 Fine and Performing Arts Series.

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Feb. 18, 2020) – Shell Point Retirement Community concludes the Concerts & Conversations program of its 2019-2020 Fine and Performing Arts Series with a performance by ragtime pianist Peter Bergin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 at the Grand Cypress Room at The Woodlands at Shell Point, 14441 Woodsong Lane in Fort Myers. Tickets for this event cost $30 and can be purchased online at www.shellpoint.org/concerts or by phone at 239-454-2067.

The Michigan-based ragtime artist has entertained audiences for over two decades. Classically trained, Bergin’s mission is to celebrate life through music and stories. He especially loves sharing the rhythms and history of ragtime piano, which brings him immense joy and satisfaction. Bergin looks forward to bringing ragtime to audiences everywhere as a testament to America’s original popular music.
