Shell Point Plans to Host Employment Open House The Retirement Community is Adding a New Facility, Creating 50+Job Opportunities

FORT MYERS, Fla. (September 15, 2011) – On Friday, September 30, Shell Point Retirement Community will host an employment fair in The Woodlands neighborhood of the community. Due to the planning and construction of The Springs at Shell Point, a new assisted living facility for the property, there will be 50+ available job opportunities created.

From 8am until 1pm, and then again from 3pm until 7pm, individuals interested in employment with Shell Point can visit the property to apply for a variety of upcoming positions. The event will take place in the Grand Cypress Room of The Woodlands at Shell Point, located at 14441 Woodsong Lane, and attendees should follow the signs to parking.


Some of the available positions will be in nursing, hospitality management, housekeeping, caregiving, food service, and more. Attendees will be asked to complete a full application, and possibly participate in interviews for available jobs. If possible, interested applicants should bring in a resume and list of references as well.

The official opening date of operation for The Springs is anticipated to be February 2012, and when completed it will offer 105 additional units to the community for assisted living.
