Local Florida Rep Actress Carrie Lund Cacioppo Joins Kirk Whipple, Marilyn Morales & The Conservatory Festival Orchestra For Shell Point’s Final Concert of the Season

FORT MYERS, FL (April 10, 2008) –Well-known local actress Carrie Lund Cacioppo will be performing with duo pianists Kirk Whipple and Marilyn Morales and the Unconservatory Festival Orchestra at the final concert of the season for Shell Point Retirement Community’s sixth annual Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series. The concert will be held on Thursday, April 17, at 7:30pm and tickets are still available.

Lund, who is well-known for her dramatic work with the Florida Repertory Theatre will be reciting the poetry of Ogden Nash to compliment the performance of Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, which is one of the selections being performed by Whipple and Morales. In addition to this popular work, their program will also include Bach’s Concerto in C Major for Two Pianos and Strings.

“The addition of Carrie Lund’s performance to the evening’s program will be a special treat for our audience and will add an extra creative element to the concert which will bring an exciting end to our 2007/2008 season of the Fine and Performing Arts Series here at Shell Point,” said Dawn Boren, director of resident life for the community.

As a professional actress, Lund has performed in more than 60 roles over a period of 20 years, primarily with the Florida Repertory Theatre, which draws more than 60,000 people a year to the Arcade Theater in downtown Fort Myers and is celebrating its tenth season.

Kirk Whipple and Marilyn Morales have performed at venues throughout the United States, Europe, Costa Rica, Spain, and throughout the Caribbean.
