FORT MYERS – The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. recently presented Wright Construction the top award in the category “Excellence in Construction Award for Multi Family Residential – Over $20 Million.”
This prestigious award was accepted by Fred Edman, president of Wright Construction Corp. The entry, which competed with eight other construction firms around the region, was for construction of the Lakewood residential building, located in The Woodlands at Shell Point.
“The thing we are most proud of in the Lakewood building is the number of quality controls we developed in the first two buildings of The Woodlands and applied fully to the construction of this third building,” said Edman. “We are pleased that all of the buildings in The Woodlands project have met excellent standards of quality construction, and to be recognized and honored with this prestigious award makes our work with Shell Point even more exciting and gratifying.”
