Friendship Festival Features Mutual of Omaha’s Jim Fowler

Wild Animals Part of Safari Theme

Every November, Shell Point hosts its Friendship Festival to welcome back Northern friends and get re-acquainted with our 1,700 neighbors at Shell Point. This year’s theme was “A Safari Adventure,” and featured African music, food, and fun, including a visit from Mutual of Omaha’s Jim Fowler and some truly wild animals.
Shell Point president Peter Dys goes face-to-face with a blue-eyed cockatoo.
Teri Kollath, Jim Fowler, and resident Wanda Slayton enjoy the adventure.
Jim Fowler, from Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, describes a King Cheetah, flown in specially for the event from the Miami Metrozoo.
