Local Bank Offers On-Site Service to Residents and Employees in the Community
FORT MYERS, FL (October 6, 2009) – Shell Point Retirement Community and FineMark National Bank and Trust have established a business relationship that will be mutually beneficial to both organizations. As of June 15, FineMark Bank started offering on-site banking services to residents, employees, and the public at Shell Point Retirement Community.
As a retirement community that offers resort-style living, Shell Point is home to more than 2,200 residents and employs more than 850 individuals. Plus, with two hotels, numerous restaurants, and a championship golf course, thousands of people visit Shell Point each year.
“FineMark Bank offers excellent services to our residents and employees, while giving them the convenience of on-site facilities and personal attention,” said Tim Lochridge, vice president of Finance, CFO for Shell Point. “From the very beginning, the staff of FineMark started to provide our residents with exceptional service by arranging informational group meetings or sitting down one-on-one with any resident who has questions. They have truly shown that they offer personal service to all their clients.”
FineMark is currently operating out of a temporary location at Shell Point until their Grand Opening in late November, as they implement renovations to the current banking facility on the property. Brinson Development Company is the contractor overseeing the construction of the 1,350 square foot facility. The renovations being made include gutting the inside of the facility all the way down to the studs to modernize it since it has not been updated since 1982. In addition to the renovation of the facility’s interior, FineMark will be adding an ATM machine, which will be located outside of the building.
Susan Chicone, who leads FineMark’s client service team at Shell Point, believes that Shell Point and FineMark share similar philosophies and commitments to quality. “We will upgrade the office so its appearance will be as nice as all other amenities for Shell Point residents. The new facility will be more conducive for building relationships with clients, will allow us to provide better service, and will be in line with FineMark standards at our other offices.”
The FineMark National Bank & Trust location at Shell Point will offer a wide variety of banking services including checking, savings, safe deposit boxes, CDs, and more. FineMark will also offer Trust and Investment services to residents. “Our goal is to determine which services will meet the needs of each of our clients to always ensure that the services they are using are in their best interest,” said Chicone.
