Country Inn & Suites Receives Green Lodging Certificate

FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 22, 2008) — The Country Inn & Suites, on Summerlin road, just before Sanibel Island, has been awarded the 1-Palm Green Lodging Certificate, announced Brian J. French, General Manager for the hotel. This designation is only awarded to hotels which are showing a concerted effort to be environmentally conscious. Country Inn & Suites, which is owned by Shell Point Retirement Community, has been in operation at this location since 2001.

Located at 13901 Shell Point Plaza, on the corner of Shell Point Boulevard and McGregor Boulevard, the four-story hotel by Carlson is just 1.6 miles from the Sanibel Causeway.
