THE VILLAGE CHURCH AT SHELL POINT ANNOUNCES THE 2012-2013 SEASON OF PRAISE CONCERT SERIES

The Village Church at Shell Point Retirement Community has announced the lineup for the 2012-2013 Season of Praise Concert Series. This series of inspirational performances, sacred music, and gospel songs will offer a total of eight different performers throughout the series. The artist roster and dates are as follows:

SHELL POINT INVITES SOUTHWEST FLORIDA TO ATTEND 2012 HOLIDAY CRAFT BAZAAR

FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 4, 2012)

Story Photo The Shell Point Crafters Group will hold their annual Shell Point Holiday Craft Bazaar on Friday and Saturday, November 2 and 3, from 10am until 3pm. Barbara Hilton, chairperson of the craft show, is pleased to welcome the public to view and purchase a variety of items created by the many talented crafters at Shell Point Retirement Community.

Over 50 booths will be set up on the first and second floors of the Woodlands Commons, and will feature a large assortment of quality crafts for sale. All of the items are handmade by the residents of Shell Point, and include intricate wood sculptures, handbags, pottery, toys, books, paintings, jewelry, cards, and much more. This year’s bazaar will also feature holiday items, home decorations, children’s clothes, and candy. After shopping, guests can visit one of Shell Point’s four onsite restaurants to enjoy a light snack or a full lunch.

LEE MEMORIAL HEALTHSYSTEM PRESIDENT, JIM NATHAN, TO VISIT SHELL POINT

FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 2, 2012) -The Academy of Lifelong Learning at Shell Point Retirement Community welcomes Jim Nathan, the Lee Memorial Health System President, to offer a presentation regarding Healthcare Implications and Challenges for Southwest Florida. This event is open to the public and will take place on October 29 at 7:00pm in the Village Church Auditorium on The Island at Shell Point.
