Shell Point Academy Offers An Economic Crisis Forum

FORT MYERS, FL (May 4, 2009) — The public is invited to attend an Economic Crisis and Local Government Forum sponsored by the Shell Point Academy at Shell Point Retirement Community. The forum will be held on Thursday, May 28, beginning at 7pm in the Grand Cypress Room which is located in The Woodlands at Shell Point. The scheduled presenters include Warren J. Wright, Fort Myers City Councilman for Ward 1; Ray Judah, Chair of the Lee County Board of County Commissioners; and a representative from the Lee County Economic Development Office and Horizon Council. “The economy has been a hot topic among all of our residents, as well as for individuals all over the country,” said Teri Kollath, Manager of Academy and Volunteer Services. “This presentation will offer information on the economic impact locally and how our local government is responding.”
