Kathy Fratrick, LCSW, is a native of Appomattox, Virginia. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Westhampton College/University of Richmond, and a master’s degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her early career included a specialty with children, adolescents, and adults in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Kathy has been with the Department of Behavioral Health at Shell Point since 2002. Currently, Kathy’s interests and expertise are in the continuum of depression, anxiety, Alzheimer’s and other dementias, caregiver stress, grief counseling and transitional care.
