We are closely monitoring the development of Invest 97-L, which is forecast to impact Southwest Florida’s weather over the weekend. While the system is not expected to become a major storm, it may organize into a tropical depression or strengthen into a tropical storm. As a precaution, Shell Point teams are implementing plans for tropical-storm-strength weather, which may begin Saturday evening with rain and gusty wind. In the event of a tropical storm watch, please secure items on balconies, in gardens, and yards. Note that contractors and other construction partners are securing their job sites. All community operations will continue normal hours of service.
