SHELL POINT WELCOMES THE NATIONAL CHRISTIAN CHOIR

FORT MYERS, Fla. (February 11, 2011) – The Village Church at Shell Point Retirement Community will welcome The National Christian Choir, with Dr. C. Harry Causey, to perform on February 19 and 20 announced Randy Woods, minister of worship and music for the Village Church at Shell Point. This concert is part of the 2010/2011 Season of Praise concert series, and tickets are still available.

“We are very excited to welcome The National Christian Choir and Dr. Causey to Shell Point for this performance,” says Randy Woods, minister of worship and music for The Village Church. “We had planned to have them perform last year, but the bitter cold storms prevented them from making the trip, so we are very excited to have them here this year. Due to the interest in this concert last year, we know that all who attend this performance will be impressed by the proficiency of this group of highly skilled choral group”. From our nation’s capital, under the direction of Dr. C. Harry Causey, The National Christian Choir will be in concert at Shell Point. Founded in 1984 by its current Music Director, C. Harry Causey, the NCC is comprised of over 150 singers from more than 100 different churches throughout the greater Washington, DC area. In addition to their live presentations throughout the US and abroad, the choir’s library of recordings are widely received. Also, their weekly inspirational broadcast, “Psalm 95” is heard on over 400 radio stations in every state, all of Canada, and beyond.

The concert will begin at 7:15pm on Saturday, February 19, and at 6:15pm on Sunday, February, 20.
