Summer Concert Series Performance Summary Watch as Gulfshore Children’s Ballet brings Shakespeare’s classic tale, A Midsummer Night’s Dream come to life on stage. Gulfshore Ballet, Southwest Florida’s premier not-for-profit school of classical ballet, founded in 2000, raises an awareness and appreciation of classical ballet in Lee County. The highly acclaimed group of dancers will perform at Shell Point on Friday, May 12.
The Sanibel Trio is an unusual combination of a violinist, violist and a pianist all of whom are residents of Sanibel Island. Renata Arado, Espen Lilleslatten, and Erik Entwistle formed their intimate group in 2016. The unique mixture of instruments allows audiences to experience both familiar and lesser-known musical masterpieces, as well as works that have been composed or arranged especially for the group. During this performance on Monday, May 22, enjoy Mozart’s Kegelstatt Trio, Bach’s Jesu Bleibet Meine Freude and Erik Entwistle’s own Sanibel Suite.
