Exterior

Designer Deborah Rummel, of Matter Brothers Furniture in Fort Myers, immediately knew the direction she wanted to take with The Useppa. “An updated, traditional twist on the Old Florida theme was the inspiration for this design,” said Rummel.
Great Room

Light oak hardwood plank floors throughout the house are the classic foundation for Rummel’s clean, traditional design. In the Great Room, creamy sand walls are the backdrop for a linen nail-head detailed couch. A modern Jacobean floral-print wingback chair in on-trend tones of persimmon, green and turquoise serves as both the counterpoint to twin leather slipper chairs and the complement to coordinating drapery. The fixed panels flank the entrance to the spacious 349-square-foot lanai overlooking the screened pool.
Lanai

The lanai’s beadboard ceiling and breezy grommetted cotton curtain panels suggest a sophisticated, nautical flair. The dinette set—along with a quartet of matching rattan armchairs accented with throw pillows in shades of sea glass—offer even more entertaining space to take advantage of the hospitality area with a stainless grill, hood, and mini-refrigerator.
Kitchen

The Useppa’s kitchen features stainless appliances, granite countertops, and cream raised-panel cabinets with polished chrome hardware. The dining room’s tray ceiling is graced by a rubbed-nickel filigree chandelier and offers even more space for gatherings around a rustic wood dining table and coordinating sideboard.
Master Bedroom

French Doors open to a master suite that is a luxurious retreat in soothing tones of cream and soft dove grey. The tray ceiling highlights the gracefully arching lines of the brushed-iron, king-sized canopy bed, while the linen- colored upholstered headboard and bedding coordinate with his-and-hers chairs that provide the perfect reading spot for quiet mornings.
The first bedroom greets guests with a queen-sized antique bronze wroughtiron headboard , coral print bedding, and matching bronze starfish lamps. The second bedroom has been envisioned as an entertainment room, with a light wood media center and flexible seating options.
