Fort Myers, FL. March 22, 2021 – Shell Point Retirement Community, one of Lee County’s Top 100 Employers, has been certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) by the Great Place to Work Institute. The GPTW Institute conducted a survey of Shell Point’s employees, evaluating more than 60 elements of their experience on the job. Findings from the survey revealed that employee’s feel a sense of pride in the organization’s community impact, believe that their work makes a difference, and that their work has special meaning. 80% of employees at Shell Point Retirement Community say it is a great place to work compared to 59% of employees at other typical U.S.-based companies. Not only did employees report job satisfaction, the survey revealed that the diverse workforce stayed with the company longer.
