Veteran Resources for Health and Wellness

Shell Point’s assisted living experts frequently work with community partners and families to educate them about the differences between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care, as well as to identify resources that can assist with financial planning.

For U.S. veterans, one website in particular can be tremendously helpful: www.myhealth.va.gov. After registering online, veterans can record and track their own health information, access a list of their medicines and lab results, and find information about general health and wellness topics.

If you’re looking for more information about assisted living at Shell Point, whether for yourself or for a loved one, consider attending a free, upcoming seminar called What to Look for When Comparing Assisted Living Options. This event will take place in The Springs assisted living facility at Shell Point, 13901 Shell Point Plaza, Fort Myers, Florida, on Thursday, June 11, at 10 a.m.

This is the perfect opportunity to get answers to questions about assisted living, and learn how to cover assisted living costs. Registration is required; call (239) 454-2077 to place a reservation today.
