Welcome to the listing of the Shell Point Village Church Library collection. There are many ways to search the library’s catalog for books, DVDs, or CDs. You may search by Title, Author, Location, Subject, Call Number or Publisher. The following search tips may help you find specific items.

Title/Series Search: Type as many or as few of the words in the title or series as you want, then press the Enter key or click Search.

Author Search: Type the author’s last name. In the case of common names, adding the first name, separated by a comma, will help narrow the search. Then press the Enter key or click Search.

Location: Enter one of the following shelf locations: Biography, Compact Discs, DVD, Fiction, Large Print, Map, Reference or Youth. These may be abbreviated. For example, such as Ref or Bio.

Subject: Enter a subject such as God, Holy Spirit, Missions, etc. Then press the Enter key or click Search.

Call No. Search: Enter a Dewey Decimal number such as 242.2. Then press the Enter key or click Search. You can also search for DVD, CD, Fic (fiction), Biog (biography), Ref (Reference), Map, C (children), Y (youth), or LP (large print). It is sometimes necessary to check the box at the right for an exact phrase match.

Publisher: Type as many or as few of the words in the publisher's name as you want. Then press the Enter key or click Search.

To narrow the search, you may use more than one search key. For instance, to look for only the Large Print version of any book, complete the Author or Title field and then, type LP in the Call No. field.
