Boating, canoeing, games, events, trips, concerts - the list is almost unending.
Learning & Growing
Sometimes Shell Point, with computer, foreign language, financial advice, and physical fitness classes, including training in Pilates and Tai Chi, seems more like a college campus than a retirement community.
Artful Living
We are extremely proud of the talent Shell Point residents bring to our community. Their desire to share that knowledge and teach others is even more amazing. From acrylic painting to scale model railroading building, from beading to photography you will never run out of opportunities to learn.

Exploring Nature

Nature lovers will be delighted with Shell Point's preserve of almost 400 acres and miles of walking trails, bike paths, and observation areas. Birding

Boardwalks, bridges, walking trails, and bike paths have been designed to connect these outdoor spaces and make them accessible to residents.

Nature ´╗┐Shell Point features numerous lakes and water views. These water features have been incorporated into the community's design. Manatees, dolphins and tropical water birds are frequent visitors. Special precautions have been taken to not only protect their habitat, but restore or improve it wherever possible.

Nature In addition, to protecting this important environment, residents participate in an annual bird count to document the number of species and birds living here.

Recreation For residents who are interested in gardening, there are individual garden plots, a lovely rose garden, and a fully equipped orchid greenhouse.
