In conjunction with Hope Hospice of Lee County, Shell Point operates a 9-room hospice on the top floor of
the
Larsen Pavilion. These private rooms overlook some of the finest water views available at Shell Point, and may be shared by family members during this difficult passage. While at Shell Point's hospice unit, patients receive the full benefit of Shell Point's medical team: physicians, nurses, nurse assistants, social workers, pharmacist, dieticians, volunteers, and more.
The
Larsen Pavilion utilizes the services of full-time chaplain Sue Stranahan, a registered nurse and former missionary who is available to provide spiritual support for patients and families. The 50-seat Pavilion Chapel may be utilized for services or quiet meditation.
