JOB LISTINGS Healthcare
Activities Leader - FT. We are seeking a candidate to plan and implement resident activities in our skilled nursing facility. This person will be responsible for organizing and participating in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group and large group activities, documentation of participation/attendance records, evaluating resident activity needs, developing individualized activity plans and completing assessments as indicated per the care plan schedule. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, patient and work well with the elderly population. Previous activities experience is required. Experience in a long term care setting is preferred and experience with the Dementia population is a plus. Candidates must have a valid CNA certification or be willing to become a CNA. ARNP - We have a full time opportunity for an experienced ARNP who enjoys working with a retired, aging population. This position will work with our physician's practice as well as provide some support to providers in our SNF. In joining a team that supports 24/7 care, there is a requirement to cover some night call and weekends. Excellent assessment and wound care skills are are required. A current FL ARNP license is required; experience with geriatric care is preferred. Program Manager - Memory Care Unit - We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Alzheimer's/Dementia planning and management. This individual will manage the memory care unit in our SNF. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in Alzheimer's/Dementia care who are knowledgeable regarding current care and activity philosophies for residents who require memory care at varying stages. We will consider RN's as well as candidates who are not nurses, but who have a related advanced educational degree. RN/LPN - FT; (SNF-LTC Unit) 7am-7:30pm with rotating weekends. LPN's - per diem (ALF). Day and evening shifts are available. Must work 4 shifts per month with 2 shifts being on a weekend. CNA's - FT; (SNF - LTC Unit) 3pm-11:30pm and 7am-3:30pm with rotating weekends; and 11pm-7:30am with rotating weekends. CNA's - per diem; SNF. Must work 4 shifts per month with 2 shifts being on a weekend. Day, evening and night shifts. Must have at least 6 months of CNA experience. Home Health CNA's - Flexible schedules; assignments are based on resident need. Must be available 2 weekend shifts per month. Must have a current FL CNA certification and have at least 6 months of recent CNA experience. Home Health Aides - Flexible schedules; assignments are based on resident need. Must be available to work 2 weekend shifts per month and must have completed the Home Health Aide course and have at least 1 year of home health experience. Resident Care Assistant - on-call, as needed to fill in. Will provide assistance with daily living. The ability to work well with the elderly is required. Related caregiver experience is preferred. Food Service/Housekeeping Dining Operations Manager - We are seeking an individual who will be responsible to manage three dining venues, including service to customers and kitchen production, manage 30+ employees with a managed volume of $1+ million annually. This position will have an active role in managing the daily operations related to accounting, cost controls, customer service, and providing leadership to meet residents’ expectations. This position is also responsible for the planning, organizing, and the operations of all the independent dining services as well as an emphasis on marketing and promotion. Reporting to the Director of Hospitality Services, the ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Food Service Manager, Operations Manager/Food Service Director, and/or Certified Dietary Manager, and have experience in training and developing professional staff and coordinating customer service programs. Experience in a fine dining environment, hotel, country club or retirement community is helpful. A Culinary Degree or Executive Chef experience is preferred, but not required. Housekeeping Lead - FT; day shift with some weekends and holidays. Housekeeping experience is required, and experience directing the work of others is preferred. Lead Cafe Attendant - FT; varied hours and days, including some weekends and holidays. Will prep food, make sandwiches, do basic grilling, serve and cashier. Excellent customer service skills are required and related experience is preferred. Cafe Attendant - PT; Primarily, Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm, but, must be flexible with schedule. Other Driver/Activity Assistant - We are seeking a friendly, experienced driver to work full time, with flexible hours which may include some evenings and weekends. This person will drive our residents to monthly programs, shopping and special events, as well as assume the role of escort as needed for some events. Other duties will include assisting the Resort Services department with various activities and programs. The ideal candidate must have a current FL CDL license with a passenger endorsement and have basic computer skills. Previous activities or related experience is a plus. Driver - on-call, as needed to fill in. We are seeking a friendly, experienced driver to work on-call on a year-round basis. Must have a current FL CDL license with a passenger endorsement. Will work day and/or evening shifts with some weekends and will drive our residents on and off Shell Point property. Technical Arts Specialist - Christian & Missionary Alliance Church - located at Shell Point. This opportunity is for an experienced candidate who will provide audio and visual support for church services, concerts, lectures and special programs. Candidates must have technical experience with sound, lighting and image magnification equipment; and strong computer skills are essential. This full time position requires a flexible work schedule and willingness to work as a team member. Additional skills in staging, multi-media production and house management are a plus. Must have a strong A/V educational background and a minimum of three to five years of professional experience in A/V production. Salon openings - Stylist; part time, Wednesdays, 8am-12pm; Thursdays, 8am-4pm and Fridays, 8am-12pm. Must be dependable and enjoy working with an elderly population. This is an independent contracted position and may be a temporary opportunity. Massage Therapist - part time; on-call on Tuesdays.
