There
is cause for celebration this year, as we mark the fifth anniversary of the
Shell Point Concert Series. I am pleased to join with the members of the
Shell Point Fine and Performing Arts Advisory Board in announcing this year's
concert roster.
Be prepared to enjoy great performances, including the memorable music of Henry
Mancini, presented by pianist Mac Frampton and the Hollywood Hills Orchestra;
the organ artistry of Jelani Eddington; the historic Vienna Boys Choir; world
renowned conductor and composer Marvin Hamlisch; and Florida's premier community
orchestra, the Gulf Coast Symphony, with brilliant duo pianists and twin
sisters, Christina and Michelle Naughton. We are thrilled to be able to
present these quality musical programs directly to you.
We could not bring the Concert Series to our community without the generous
support of our friends and residents. There is a growing interest in
supporting arts and culture here at Shell Point through contributions made to
the Friends of the Arts. All donations are tax deductible. The first
concert program will list all donations received prior to October 10, 2006, and
each program will be updated throughout the season.
We look forward to sharing the joy of music with you and your friends this
coming season.
Let the Music play on!
