  • FINE & PERFORMING ARTS CONCERT SERIES

This series kicks off in November with the Four Freshmen, who will bring a twist of elegance, a splash of swing, and a whole lot of fun. Cantus, one of the nation’s few full-time vocal ensembles, takes the stage in December. American Portraits featuring The Dallas Brass and Daniel Rodriguez starts the new year with extraordinary range and musical challenges, and River City Brass follows in February with a special blend of American tunes, big band, and jazz. The season ends in March with the Jive Aces, bringing high-energy jump jive and swing music, plus a spectacular stage show.

  • CONCERTS & CONVERSATIONS SERIES

These intimate performances are held at The Woodlands in the Grand Cypress Room at 7 p.m., followed by a dessert and fellowship reception. Smaller groups allow interaction between the performer and audience. The 2016-2017 series begins in November with flutists William and Beth Larsen, followed by You Ju Lee, a classical concert pianist from Atlanta. In February, the Fred Moyer Jazz Trio returns to the Shell Point stage. The series will end with an April concert by Danut Muresan, a violinist from Tampa.

  • SOUTHWEST FLORIDA SYMPHONY SERIES

Shell Point has partnered with the Southwest Florida Symphony to offer talented, local performances for many years, and this year is no exception! December brings seasonal classics with a Holiday Pops concert – The Holidays in Paradise. In February, enjoy Gloria with the Florida Gulf Coast University Chamber Choir, and end these performances in March with Concierto de Aranjuez featuring Conductor Nir Kabaretti.

Special Bonus Concert   Back by popular demand, Barbary Coast Dixieland Band is offering their final Florida performance at Shell Point – so don’t miss it! Well-known for their upbeat, toe-tapping sounds, this band is sure to have audiences dancing in their seats one last time.
